At school there was a 6.3 earthquake. I was sad and scared. My class got damaged. Lots of other classes got damaged too. Lots of people were scared and lots of people got hurt. I did go to my mum's mum's house because I had no power and water.
In the 6.3 earthquake my car got stuck in liquefaction. There was a lot of liquefaction. Liquefaction is sand and water mixed together.
In the earthquake a lot of houses got damaged. The bricks came out and there were cracks along the walls. My house didn't get damaged.
In the earthquake the ground came up at Toby's house (only a little bit). Water came out of the crack on the field at school. It looked like a fountain.
Damage from the earthquake was frightening. It made me feel sad to see it.
